Frenchies Restaurant opened in 1979...

Giuseppe & Frankie Camera brought over their recipes and experiences from the Isle of Capri, Italy and introduced them to the Houston community. Ever since then their food and restaurants have become an icon in the Space City.

Frenchies has a very mom & pop setting, and when you walk in you feel like you are part of the family with their warm welcomes and aromas that take you back to a generation when your grandmother cooked all day.

Their food consists of large sandwiches on their signature baked bread , also used for the garlic bread, pasta with homemade sauces and topped with everything from meatballs to jumbo gulf shrimp, fresh everyday. They specialize in great and hearty meat dishes including osso bucco,which will melt in your mouth. You can finish up your dinner with homemade desserts and cappuccino!
